These principles mean that you might find my approach to learning the violin a little bit different:

We will spend lots of time playing music together - we will learn some technique of course, but only what you need to play the music you want to play.

You will make lots of your own musical decisions - there are no right answers

You might not need a lesson every week - just have one when you want one, or feel you need one.

I'll never nag you about practice - I'd love you to practice but you will only want to do it if you enjoy it - so lets find the things you enjoy.
