Jopes Lodge was originally an artist's studio which was converted in 2020 to a very high standard to provide luxury open plan accommodation. It sits in a beautiful position with a patio which overlooks the River Seaton. It is a haven for wildlife and you may well see kingfishers and woodpeckers. The otter experts have found evidence of otters in the river by the Lodge - perhaps you will be the first to see one!
You enter the Lodge via the large patio which has comfortable patio chairs as well as a small table for al fresco drinks and dining. Our guests often comment how lovely it is to come back after a busy day sightseeing and relax with a drink on the patio with the river running by.
The accommodation is open plan with a separate bathroom - the Lodge is around 8m long so there is plenty of space. The living area has two armchairs (we can put in a small sofa bed if you prefer) and a TV. Next to this there is a well equipped kitchen, with full sized oven and hob, plus a microwave, fridge and plenty of storage.
The comfortable double bed is in an alcove at the far end with hanging and drawer space nearby.
The bathroom is slate tiled and has a large shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
