The Quorum Trio

The Quorum Trio will bring a delightfully varied programme to Jopes Mill's music room including the wonderful trio for oboe, bassoon and piano by the Poulenc - not to be missed.  There will also be some solo items which will showcase the talents of these virtuoso players. (If you've never heard the Flight of the Bumblebee played on the bassoon you've been missing out!)

Poulenc: Trio

Imogen Triner (oboe) has performed major concertos with symphony and chamber orchestra across Scandinavia and Europe.  As a chamber musician Imogen has performed highly accoaimed recitals in major London venue and in festivals throughout the UK.  She has toured as a recitalist in Scandinavia, America and Japan.

Sally Bartholomew  (bassoon) has played with a range of UK orchestras including the Citiy of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manchester Camerata.  As a chamber musician she has performed in the Wigmore Hall and around the UK.  Sally is currently principal bassoon with the Bristol Ensemble.

James Drinkwater (piano) has performed several times as an accompanist on BBC television and radio, as well as performing in London's Wigmore Hall.  As a soloist he has performed concertos by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Shostakovitch.  He is currently Assistant Director of Music at Clifton College in Bristol.
