The Jopes Orchestra brings together some of the finest professional musicians from across the south west of England, united by a simple goal: to share great live classical music with as many people as possible. This concert offers a welcoming way to experience three much-loved works in one evening.

The programme opens with Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture – fast, bright and full of energy. The orchestra is then joined by dazzling Polish violinist Ola Lenkiewicz for Bruch’s ever popular Violin Concerto. After the interval, the concert closes with Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, music of drive and momentum that Wagner famously described as “dance in its most exalted form”.

Whether you’re a regular concert-goer or coming for the first time, this is a chance to hear outstanding musicians performing some of the world's greatest music.
