This atmospheric evening offers you the opportunity to listen to Bach’s wonderful music whilst surrounded by some of the masterpieces of Cornish art. The acoustics of this newly transformed space are fantastic for players and audience alike, which makes the museum the perfect place to experience some of the most joyous and inventive music ever written.

The Jopes Ensemble is a handpicked collective of some of the finest professional musicians from across the South West. The group has performed candlelit concerts across Cornwall and Devon for the last three years and audiences have loved both the quality of playing and the engaging presentational style. Whether you’re a lifelong lover of classical music or new to the genre, this unforgettable evening offers the perfect blend of culture, ambiance, and artistry in the heart of Truro.

Brandenburg Concerto No 3 for 10 solo strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 4 for two flutes, violin and strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 5 for harpsichord, violin, flute and strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 6 for two violas and strings.
